Of course, for many of you, the title of this blog will require very little explanation. For the rest of you, the it is an adaptation of the fine Canadian television series "The Littlest Hobo" about a dog that wandered from town to town helping people. That's kinda what I'm doing. Except I'm not a dog, I'm driving my car all over North America, and I don't expect to have to help many...
So there it is. And here's a picture of one of the many dogs that gave their lives in the production of such a high quality television product:
And here are the lyrics in just in case you were feeling nostalgic for those innocent times:
There's a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road, that's where I'll always be.
Every stop I make, I make a new friend,
Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again
Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.
Touching yes, but more importantly, this blog is a spot on the web to track my road trip for all of you who couldn't/wouldn't do the responsible thing and come with me.
Check back often as there will be regular posts.
